Welcome to Christain Faith Ministries. My mission when creating this web site was to create a web site that would help lead people to Christ, and once they excepted Jesus as their personal Savior, help them to lead a gloryious and prosporious life as a christain fulfilling Gods plan he designed for them.
So lets talk a little bit about THE PLAN OF SALVATION.
First of all I want to tell you a little of my background. I excepted Jesus Christ in my life at a very young age. I was 10 years old back on Feb. 16th 1968 the day I excepted the Lord as my personal savior, was baptised in Jesus name and recieved the gift of the Holy Spirit. First I had to repent of all my sins as the Bible tells us to do in Acts 2:38 . Peter stood up on that day and told the multitude ye must repent, that is the first step of Gods plan, repent of all your sins and transgressions. You have to first acknowlede we are all born into sin nobody is without sin. In Acts 3:19 the Bible says repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. Also in 2 Peter 3:9 God is patient with us, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. So you must acknowledge I am a sinner and Jesus Christ is our Savior. Then Peter says in Acts you must be baptised. The word baptism comes from the word baptismo which means emerse. You might ask "why do I need to be baptised" When you are baptised you are asking God to wash away all of your sins so you can become a new creature in Christ Jesus. You are basicly getting rid of the old sinful man(person) and through the blood of Jesus becomming a new man(or women). So after you Repent, be baptised, you will recieve the gift of the Holy Ghost. Which is the spirit of God literally living inside of you.
So there you have it The Plan Of Salvation in a nut shell. A little food for thought Luke 15:7, Jesus said, "I tell you that in the same way there would be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 rightous persons who do not need to repent. Of course I don't believe there is one person who doesn't need to repent, I believe you need to make repentence a daily part of yur devotions. We are human and that human spirit we were born with causes us to stray every once and a while. We will get more into that down the road. Also the Bible says 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. So what God is telling us is repentance plays a big part in our salvation.
I want to ask the question " Have you excepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior?" If not I would like you to pray this prayer with me "Heavenly Father I am a sinner, please forgive me of my sins I realize you are the Son of God the Savior of the world and the only one who can save me from being lost for eternity. Jesus I except you as my personal savior make me a new creature so I can live forever with you for eterity.
